Justin Hardy is a driven, focused, and passionate professional with over 10 years of experience in the nonprofit, for profit, and educational sectors. He is a dynamic professional, who is committed to improving the lives of others, especially within communities of color. The son of both an educator and Clinical Psychologist he learned the importance of giving back at an early age. Currently he manages a College Bound program as the site director for the Diplomas to Degrees program with the Boys & Girls Club of Long Beach. He works with many low-income students to educate them regarding access to higher education, personal development, and employment opportunities.

Prior to his position with the Boys & Girls Club, Justin worked in a variety of capacities. These roles ranged from serving as a Development Manager within the non-profit arena to working with business banking customers for Wells Fargo Bank. As a Business Banking Specialist he maintained a portfolio of over 200 business clients and generated over 2 million dollars in revenue for the bank.

Justin graduated from Xavier University (OH) with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and also had the opportunity to study abroad through the University’s Service Learning program in Nicaragua. While in school he was awarded the Antonio Johnson Scholarship Award, given to a junior who demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to social justice.

Justin is looking forward to enhancing his leadership skills and discovering new ways to foster change in his community through the National Urban Fellows program.
