Andradia Scovil began her career with National City Bank in 2006 as an INROADS intern in the Corporate Public Affairs department.  Following her internship, she moved into a full-time position as a Corporate Credit Analyst in the bank’s Commercial Banking Development Program, and later became an Estate Settlement Senior Associate in National City Corporation’s Private Client Group.  Andradia was then offered an opportunity to serve as the Program Coordinator for The Cleveland Foundation’s Civic Innovation Lab. There she assisted in the growth and funding of start-up businesses in the Greater Cleveland area, providing grants totaling $300,000 annually.

With her newfound passion for the nonprofit arena, Andradia went on to successfully launch the expansion of Bizdom as the first hire and Recruiting Leader for Bizdom Cleveland, an entrepreneurship accelerator founded by Dan Gilbert (majority owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Founder and Chairman of Quicken Loans, Inc.).   In this position she was responsible for the recruitment of potential program entrepreneurs, all interviewing and screening processes, building and maintaining relationships within the community, social media and web site maintenance, and increasing brand awareness.

Andradia is a proud Cleveland native and Cleveland Public School alumnus. She is an inductee in the 2009 Class of Kaleidoscope’s Cuarenta/Cuarenta (Latino 40 under 40) Club and an inaugural Case Western Reserve University First Place Case Study Award recipient. She majored in accounting and received her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Ohio University in three years.

Excited to join the over 1,400 alumni of the National Urban Fellows program, Andradia is confident she will continue to embody NUF’s mission as a leader of change, social justice, and equity. A tactical risk taker who is passionate about service, she looks forward to dedicating her skillsets to helping regional or national organizations in areas such as economic, professional, and organizational development.
